As one of the common foodborne pathogens, Salmonella is a serious threat to human health. People infected with Salmonella or the feces of carriers can contaminate food and cause food poisoning. According to statistics, among different types of bacterial food poisoning in various countries in the world, food poisoning caused by Salmonella often ranks first. Salmonella is also the first in my country's inland areas. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to establish a sensitive, specific and reliable technology for rapid and selective detection of Salmonella.

The real-time PCR technology uses specific primers and probe amplification for Salmonella to detect the specific conserved DNA sequence of Salmonella, so as to detect Salmonella in food. Conventional real-time fluorescent PCR detection reagents are liquid and must be kept frozen (-20°C) to remain effective. The product developed by our company is a dry-type real-time fluorescent PCR reagent. This reagent does not need to be stored at low temperature, and can achieve specificity and sensitivity close to that of liquid reagents.
