Vibrio cholerae (Vibriocholerae) is the pathogen of human cholera, and its O139 group can cause cholera. Cholera is one of the most widespread and severe infectious diseases and belongs to the international quarantine infectious diseases. Vibrio cholerae O139 is one of the 12 pathogenic microorganisms that may have a significant impact on human health in the 21st century. It is extremely necessary to establish a sensitive, specific and reliable technology for the rapid and selective detection of Vibrio cholerae O139.
Real-time fluorescent polymerase chain reaction (polymerase chain reaction, PCR) technology uses Vibrio cholerae O139-specific primers and fluorescent probes to amplify and detect Vibrio cholerae O139-specific conserved DNA sequences, thereby rapidly and selectively detecting Vibrio cholerae in food O139. Conventional real-time fluorescent PCR detection reagents are liquid and must be transported in a cold chain and stored at low temperature. The product developed by our company is a dry real-time fluorescent PCR reagent, which can be stored at room temperature, and can achieve specificity and sensitivity close to that of liquid reagents.
Storage method: Store at room temperature.
Shelf life: 12 months.
